I offer psychodiagnostic assessments for autism, ADHD, and related mental health conditions.

My assessment style aims to be neuroaffirming, collaborative, and focused on assisting clients in sharing their experiences and support needs. My assessment process has been described as clear, efficient, and validating.

Assessments involve at least one in-person appointment in Kingston. The rest of the process can occur from a distance, as long as clients are still located in the province of Ontario.

Assessment quotes vary, depending on individual goals and contexts, but a targeted assessment with one query (e.g., autism OR ADHD) has an average cost of $2250 (9 clinical hours). A targeted assessment with two queries (e.g., autism AND ADHD) has an average cost of $2750 (11 clinical hours). After meeting with you for a consultation, I will be able to give a more accurate quote.

Please note that I am not offering psychoeducational testing at this time (i.e., cognitive and academic testing that could identify specific learning disorders).

I provide neuro-, queer- and trans-affirming support. I also provide intervention for a variety of mental health needs (e.g., neurodivergent overwhelm, neurodivergent burnout, anxiety, depression, OCD, posttraumatic stress).

My therapeutic style starts with collaborative case conceptualization (i.e., my clients and I working together to understand what factors are impacting their current challenges). This is followed by intervention informed by the conceptualization, research, and clinical practice recommendations.

My therapeutic style is flexible and dynamic, and I am often seeking feedback from clients on what is working and what isn’t. I highly value clients having the information needed to make informed decisions for their own wellbeing.

I often work from a foundation in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. I also draw upon Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and psychodynamic therapies. I have had training in several modalities for treating posttraumatic stress (i.e., Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure).

Sessions are offered both virtually and in-person.

50-minute sessions are billed at my hourly rate of $250.

I offer presentations for healthcare providers on autism assessment, case conceptualization and differential diagnosis, neuroaffirming care, and queer- and trans-affirming mental healthcare. I also offer presentations for educators on neuroaffirming practices at school.
